Biography
DEATH IN JUNE was formed in 1981, by Douglas Pearce, Patrick Leagas &
Tony Wakeford. Hailing from the late 70's UK Punk scene, the trio forged
a blend of industrial & dark atmospheric music, revolutionary as it was
innovative & dynamic. DEATH IN JUNE was to become the main focus of
Douglas P. & over the many years that passed, he collaborated with acts
such as S.P.K, PSYCHIC TV, & numerous other individuals on the cutting
edge of the Industrial scene.
"The World That Summer"
This classic and highly sought after DEATH IN JUNE album was originally
released in 1986 and has never been released on CD in its full,
unadulterated form.
Featuring some of DEATH IN JUNE's most renowned pieces such as

Recorded live in Melbourne directly after a highly successful european
tour - a tour which saw crowds of up to 2000 gather to witness one of
the true pioneers of Dark Ambient/Industrial Folk music, DEATH IN JUNE.
DEATH IN JUNE mainman Douglas P. was joined by Austrian cohort Albin
Julius & Australian percussionist, John Murphy, for an hour long set
that comprised some 20 songs from all sectors of the bands extensive
history.
"The final concert of the 20th Century" is released in a Special
Edition Digipak.

a theme consistent to Douglas P.'s collaborations over his long career
as both DEATH IN JUNE & CURRENT 93.
